Our Holiday Programs & Activities
1. Holiday Intensives (30 minutes, consecutive days)
Our Holiday Intensive Programs produce great results! Intensive programs are a great way to consolidate progress made during the term. They are also beneficial for those kids (3 years +) ready to move up a level or who have just moved up a level. We have Intensive Programs, as well as other Holiday Programs for all levels, just call us 0498717607or

Class Size: 3max for beginner levels. 4 max for higher levels
2. Private Lessons (30 minutes, consecutive days)
We also offer Private Classes during the holidays! Get even more out of your Swim Intensive with a 1-on-1 session!

3. Specialty Sessions w/ Coach Steve Alderman (30 minutes, single booking or consecutive days)
Specialty Private & Semi-Private Sessions with Coach Steve Alderman: Steve will be running his swim intensives in the afternoons (3pm-7pm) of the first week of holidays (14/3, 15/3 & 16/3). His offers adult lessons, as well as stroke correction and carnival prep for teens.

4. Casual Babies Classes (30 minutes, single booking)
During the Holiday Program we also have Casual Babies Classes!!! A casual babies class is a single, 30-minute class that you pre-book. However, unlike our Term Babies Program, it is just a single class, no obligation to enrol for more classes. Casual Babies Classes are IDEAL for any parent wanting to experience a babies class without the long term commitment, or for the parent who can't commit to a term of babies classes due to work or other commitments. To enrol for casual babies just call us 0498717607 or fill in this form. Class Size: 7 babies max plus parent/carer.
5. Fun Pool Activity Sessions (1 hour, single booking)
During these April School Holidays, we will also be offering some Fun Pool Activities!!! We will have our blow up slide at the edge of the pool, plus various pool games. Kids (and adults) can pick and choose whether they are playing one of the games or just having a swim and play in the pool. NOTE: A parent or carer is welcome to join their child for FREE in the pool if they are playing with their child.. Session Size: 15 kids max Book your Fun Pool Activity here
6. Splash Pass Sessions (1 hour, single booking)
Splash Pass Session: 1 hour activity! The Splash Pass is exclusively for patrons of BEST Aquatics, however, you can choose to bring a friend along so they can enjoy the facilities too. The Splash pass gives you access to the hot/cold plunge pools, the deep pool and our main pool. This is a great opportunity to have a swim while your kids are having a lesson! You can also choose to buy a Splash pass for the hour even if your kids are not enrolled in the holiday program, you just need to be a patron of BEST Aquatics (or attending with a patron of BEST Aquatics). Casual Babies Free Play - 1 session only - up to 1 hr $11 - (parent & baby, no teacher, but toys & mats supplied) - Any time from 9am-12pm
Swim & Soak Splash Pass - $11 - up to 1 hr in any of our pools, including our hot/cold plunge pools - Any time from 9am-12pm
Fun Pool Activities - 1 session only - 1 hr
$15 (1 parent/carer is welcome to be in the pool free with child)
*NOTE: Child must be able to tread water for Fun Pool Activities - * TBC Every day we're open from 1-2pm
April School Holiday Program Draft Schedule
Below is our DRAFT Schedule. Other than the times that say FULLY BOOKED, this schedule may change depending on demand. When we have confirmed your booking and received a deposit, your time will be locked in.
What is a Holiday Intensive?
Basically, it has sessions similar to our term programs, but rather than just coming 30 minutes 1 day per week for 10 weeks, you do 30 minutes every day of the week for 5 days (or 4 days depending on Public Holidays). This format allows us to extend swimmers more than a normal term program can. An Intensive can also be an excellent way to breakthrough challenges that you might have been having with your swimming technique. Kids really love Holiday Intensives because it is something 'different' to the format they are used to, and we always work some extra fun activities in as well. Holiday Intensive Swimming is also an great way to ensure that you swimmers get plenty of exercise during the school break.
WHO NEEDS AN ASSESSMENT?
If your child does not currently swim with us, or it has been longer than 6 months since your child was last enrolled with us, they will require an assessment prior to booking the holiday program.
This assessment is essential for us to see which level is best suited for your child to maximise their learning experience.
We run assessments on year-round, so if your child requires an assessment to participate,
please contact us and let us know you would like to book an assessment. Assessments are free-of-charge.
Your child will not require an assessment if they were actively enrolled with us in Term 1 of 2025 or if they have attended our one of our sister schools at KICK Edgecliff or KICK Hervey Bay in the past 6 months.
